There's something better than being smart

If I'm traveling at a constant velocity in two dimensions, from a given one-dimensional perspective I could be moving at top speed, very slow, not at all, or even backwards.

most definatly true. I used to dedicate myself to being the smartest person I knew, but really it's alot more enjoyable to let go of most of that.

Haha, look at me now.

by the way, i know you from the real world. if you can guess who i am approach me at school concerning it. I'm in one of your classes.

(pssst- I'm still smart. I just don't look like it.)

This is the same Anonymous as the prior post.

Upon reading your replies to what you call "idiotic" posts, especially the response to the post which you logically inferred as Joelle Tan's, an old friend of mine, I have chosen to comment in this rather pretentious and seemingly intellectual way. If proper punctuation, especially the correct use of ellipses can so greatly alter your perception of a person, then you dissapoint me indeed. That is not to say that I fully approve of "Blog-a-nese" (the common language of the internet), but one must understand that in order to be a worthwhile AND intelligent individual, it is not mandatory speak so formally.

Furthermore, I highly doubt that you will ever be in the sort of romantic relationship that you seem to want so badly.

A.) You seem highly misogynistic.
B.) You do not seem to think that you can have female friends, that if you are to become acquainted with a girl, it can only be on a sexual/romantic level.
c.) You judge people upon your first, most direct impression of them, hardly ever trying to look deeper into their personality. This will make it near impossible to have any sort of functioning relationship with anyone, as one who is to your standard will surely reject you due to your intolerance of others.

Take me as an example- My cognitive abilty is 98th Percentile. There are 2% of people in the world whose minds can function at a higher level than mine. To this day, most people who really get to know me agree that I am outstandingly bright.

I used to be like you, Steven. I used to be as intellectually elitist. You learn your lessons the hard way.

Currently, I am highly amused.

Guess who?

"anonymous", I thank you very much for making several valid points with respect to Steven's character. You have earned MY respect, whoever you are.

I am NOT Joelle, whoever THAT is.

Your Blog is so endlessly addicting.

I am not the same "Guess Who" as the one from the post from a few days ago.

I will be monitoring this thread for your guesses, or shall I say, inferences.

there's a whole lot of anonymity on this blog. i'm not sure if this means that today's teenagers really took to heart what their oh so wise teachers and paranoid parents taught them -that the internet is a scary, dangerous place where bad people are lurking, just waiting for a little naive kiddie to unsuspectingly cross their path- or if we're just chronically lazy, and can't be bothered to think of a name, be it real or psuedo. or, maybe, we find security in the masses- no one seems to have an identity here, so i could assume that all of this was written by one person with too much time on their hands.
but i digress.
i know pretty well all of you.
i doubt any of you know me.
who's anonymous now?

So you have decided to try and get me to take you seriously by offering me a challenge. Well, it's worked, for about one-and-a-half sentences.

I have to wonder when I talk to you: am I talking to a person or happy drugs?

To the other anonymous:
If the way you dress has anything to do with intelligence, then obviously you do not know much about intelligent people. And most likely have some seriously distorted veiws on what intelligence is.

To Carpo:
Happy drugs dont talk, schtupid.

I guess i do have distorted views, but none of my views will ever consider you to be intelligant, morover a whiner, waiting for a seat on the mary-go-round.

I'm glad I don't have any real opinions of people, so I get to remain neutral. It's not like I have a choice, everyone is just so equally...(Stupid, humane, fill it in yourself.)

It's funny how people can agree yet still argue.

Dressing oddly is anyone's choice, at least before jobs are necessary.

I only choose to be anonymous because I am who I am who I am and my name does not matter. It's not like any of us are going to look deep into the others personality on a post like this, it's all superficial. No real friends or enemies can be made, I suppose.

However, that's my opinion and I have given no reason for anyone to agree with me.

(PS. Sorry for the disorganization, maybe I'll be bothered to try better next time.)

Well, Mr. or Ms cognative ability of 98th percentile, if you're going to make personal claims, you could at least identify yourself so we can make personal attacks.

It's a she, and I think she's smart too.

I also think that Steven is very intelligent, but so arrogant that he doesn't deserve his intelligence.

I guess we'll just have to live with it. People all have their faults. Steven's happen to be lack of social skills and lack of tact. He should try making friends with a female some time. It would be interesting to observe...(yeah, it's me again)...

So, I was in a Sears department store on the sixth floor investigating furniture, when all of a sudden I noticed a song, which had been playing for several minutes. Perhaps I was drawn in by a contortion of a quote from a Shakespeare play I had not yet studied; or perhaps it was a remixing of the chorus from Dôme épais from an opera I had never heard; or perhaps my unconscious attention had been building up with repeated mentions of sex, which I had not yet tasted. . . . who knows? This day would hold many mysteries for me. All I knew for sure was that I would later find a trivial connection between that song and comments on my internet journal I had yet to read. But less importantly, it was becoming increasingly apparent that the climax of the story was getting earlier and earlier as it progressed.

Lewis Carroll was an opium addict. As was Poe. Check your history.

There is no proof he was an addict of cocaine. Although he advocated it as a cure for disorders, that doesn't mean he used it for pleasure nor because he phyisically needed to.

Besides, what does that have to do with anything?
